Ansattens lift and snow-caterpillar
The slalom-slopes are located on the southern slope of the Ansatten. No cars are allowed here. You can let the snow-caterpillar pull you up the slope, ride inside the caterpillar or in the covered wagon. The caterpillars go up and down all day and start in Bakvattnet.

Handicapped, retired people, pre-school classes among others have already discovered this comfortable way of taking themselves up the mountain.

If you prefer to go on your touring-skis, you can take a nice and relaxing tour up along the caterpillar track or the Meskal track.

Camping Åkersjön (Akersjon)
The ski slopes are located in a protected forest area near the village of Akersjon. This is also a natural starting-point for ski tracks and scooter tracks.
