Mountain hiking
A wonderful experience

Leave your everyday life behind you for a moment and enjoy the satisfaction and the relaxation a day in the mountains can give you. Come and try our clean water, breathe our fresh air, experience the silence and the endless distance. In Ansattfjallen you can go for longer or shorter hikes where just a daypack with some food and a raincoat will do. Or you pack a little more and go hiking for several days with overnight stays in a tent or a mountain hut.

Ansattfjallen is located a little ways away from the popular hiking routes. It is here you can feel the untouched wilderness more than anywhere. There are several peaks over 1000 m above sea level, for example Ansatten at 1090.7 m, Stenrösfjallet at 1039 m, and Tjaksgaise at 1131 m.

The natural environment is unique and offers beauty as well as adventure. Its easy to find your way around.
The paths are marked and there is a detailed mountain map.

Onrun is the mountain seen from Akersjon. On its peak lies Onruns Fjallstation kiosk (856 m above sea level). During the summer you can drive all the way up with your car. During the winter the last 2 km must be covered by ski or snow-mobile. From here you have an incredible view. With clear conditions, you can spot 36 named mountain peaks 100 to150 km in all directions. No wonder the Onrun is called the mountain with
the
widest view in Sweden.
