Fishing There are numerous fishing waters with plenty of fish. In our waters char and trout are the only fish swimming. There are mountain lakes, ponds and flowing waters. During the summer the most comfortable way of fishing is from a boat where you can row with a long line. Or would you rather try your luck in one of the smaller mountain lakes in the reindeer areas? If you rather fish in a torrential river you are best to go fish the Akersjon at the mouth of lake Akersjon. Or you try the Hotagen, about 30 km away, where you can fight with giant trout. Talk to your host or your tourist guide, and you will get good tips.

Hunting Are you interested in hunting? We can offer you good small game hunting in and near the mountains. Alternatively, there are beaver-dams in near-by rivers. A hunting guide can be arranged on request. Otherwise you can hunt on your own with the aid of a map after having bought a hunting licence.
